What personally identifiable information is collected from you

We collect information in several ways from different parts of our web site.

Some personal information is gathered when you register to use various options. During registration, we ask for your name and email address. The system will also occasionally ask for your street address, city, state/province, zip/postal code, country, telephone number, and the URL of your web site. This information is used solely to assist you in navigating the system by automatically filling in certain forms (such as the ad posting form) with your information so that you don’t have to continually re-enter it. Once you register for a free service you are no longer anonymous to Peak Web Services – you are able to take full advantage of the many offerings we have.

What cookies are and how they are used

As part of offerings and providing customizable and personalized services, many of our areas may use cookies to store and sometimes track information about you. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Certain features of our site require that you accept cookies in order to work properly. We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. They do this by placing a cookie on your computer when you click on a ad. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, click here.
